Shallow dents across hoods, roofs and body panels are common PDR candidates when the paint remains intact.
Localized parking-lot dents can often be repaired without refinishing if the panel has suitable access.
Small to medium dents may qualify depending on depth, location, body lines and how much the metal has stretched.
Cracked paint, severe creases, stretched metal or structural collision damage can require conventional body repair.
